The old SL175 wiring had seen its day. It was brittle, worn, and tattered. I also wanted to change things up and make the bike even more simple and easy to trouble shoot… so I started from scratch.

We chose a lithium battery and new voltage regulator rectifier for the set-up to start things off. Since the bike doesn’t have electric start, the batter could be nice and small.

The main goal was simple, simple, simple.
